m‑Indicator – Privacy Policy & Terms

Introduction

Please read these terms and conditions prior to using the products and services offered by Mobond. By using the product, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and Google’s Terms of Service (including without limitation all disclaimers, exclusions of warranties, and limitations of liability contained therein). If you do not agree, please do not use the products and services offered by Mobond.

Privacy Policy

Mobond ("we", "our", "us") operates the m‑Indicator mobile application and related services. By using m‑Indicator, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information (you provide): Name and email (via Google Login); resume/CV and job‑related data (job‑seeking status, salary range, skills, experience, preferred job location, other resume content); user‑provided location details such as city/area/pincode for job radius filtering.
• App & Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, mobile network, crash logs, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers.
• Legacy data categories: Unique device identifiers, and location information when provided by you for location‑based services.
• Communications: Feedback, support emails, or messages you send to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve m‑Indicator and ResumeDB features.
• To match users with relevant job opportunities.
• To share your resume and job preferences with trusted employers, recruiters, or job partners solely for job opportunities. We do not sell your data.
• To enable location‑based job filtering using your manually provided location (no GPS collection).
• To provide location‑based transit information and relevant advertisements.
• To send updates, alerts, or service communications.
• To analyze performance, ensure security, and prevent abuse.

3. Data Sharing & Third‑Party Disclosure

We also use third‑party services including Google Sign‑In (OAuth), Google Maps APIs, advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob), and analytics/crash reporting. These providers may process device or identifier data subject to their own privacy policies (e.g., Google Privacy Policy). Advertisements are accepted when they conform to ethical standards; Mobond does not verify the authenticity of advertisers or claims made in advertisements.

4. Location Policy

We collect and use location in two ways:

• Local Train — “Track your Train” = Yes (precise GPS): When you explicitly enable the Track your Train option in the Local train section, the app collects your precise device GPS location and sends it to our server to help estimate the train’s live position. This location is stored ephemerally only for computation and is not permanently stored against your user identity.
• All other ResumeDB/job features (no GPS): For job radius filtering and general job features, you manually provide city/area/pincode; we do not use device GPS.

You can withdraw GPS collection at any time by turning Track your Train to No or by denying location permission in your device settings. If permission is denied or the feature is off, no precise GPS is collected.

5. Advertisements & Bandwidth

• m‑Indicator may display image or video advertisements.
• Mobond shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your relationship with any advertiser.

6. Communications

You may receive SMS, notifications, or emails from Mobond containing new product information, updates, or alerts. Messages received on your registered number will not constitute unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) irrespective of your registration on any Do Not Disturb/Do Not Call registry, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Information Security, Storage & Retention

• We take appropriate security measures, including encryption in transit, secure storage, and internal reviews of data handling practices, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
• Personal data (including resume) is retained while your account remains active and as required by law.

8. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data (including resume and job preferences) using the in‑app Delete Account option. Following deletion, we remove personal data within a reasonable period except where retention is legally required.

9. Children

m‑Indicator is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect resumes or job data from minors.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on www.mobond.com/terms.xhtml. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms & Conditions

1. By using m‑Indicator, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Google’s Terms of Service.
2. Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties. Mobond disclaims liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
3. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any resume or information you upload and for having the rights to share it.
4. ResumeDB is provided on a best‑effort basis. Mobond is not responsible for the actions or decisions of employers, recruiters, or third‑party partners.
5. You agree not to misuse the app, disrupt services, infringe intellectual property, or engage in unlawful activity.

Word of Caution

• m‑Indicator is not an official publication of Indian Railways, BEST, or RTO. Train timings may not match actual timings. Please cross‑verify information.
• PNR status and SPOT train services are provided by Indian Railways. Premium SMS charges (generally Rs. 3) may apply. m‑Indicator acts only as an interface to these services.
• You may incur call or SMS charges for certain services. Contact your service provider for details.

Availability & Changes

• Mobond shall make no guarantees for the uninterrupted or continuous availability of the products/services or any specific features.
• Mobond reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the products and/or services at any time.

Customer Service

Mobond does not take responsibility for providing customer service related to software beyond what is required by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mobond, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of m‑Indicator or the ResumeDB features; (b) any content or resume you submit, upload, or share; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your interactions with employers, recruiters, or job partners. Employers, recruiters, and job partners further agree not to resell, redistribute, or misuse user information and to indemnify Mobond for any breach of these obligations.
